Deep down in this hole

The above poster by Andrew Crawshaw from Broken Press was for a Harvey Milk show in 2008. I really like this poster because, it connects well to what Harvey Milk’s music would look like if it were a visual. Harvey Milk’s experimental style with crunching down tuned southern riffs creates an atmosphere in which you never know what direction they’ll take you next. Similar to the design elements of the poster, when looking at specific lines they tend to look erratic but in its entirety the lines tie in with each other creating a unique composition. If there were one Harvey Milk song I wouldn’t mind going def to, it would have to be Motown for its enticing solo that ends with you itching for more.
